My Take On ROH #381 01/08/19

The episode starts out with Chris Sabin, Flip Gordon, Dalton Castle, &, Marty Scurll all in the ring. And it was determined that these men will compete in a 4 corners survival match to determine #1 contender to Jay Lethal and the ROH World Championship.

They were interrupted by Matt Taven, who was attacked by ROH World Champion Jay Lethal.

Next up: Proving Ground Match: Luchasaurus vs. ROH TV Champion Jeff Cobb

Extremely physical match, but Jeff Cobb wins after hitting  Tour Of The Islands

Next up: Women of Honor Champion Kelly Klein vs Nikki Addams. Klein made every match against her a title match

Women of Honor Champion Kelly Klein defeated Nikki Addams to retain the title, afterwards, Kelly was confronted by Jenny Rose, who made their match on 1/13 a Street Fight for the Women Of Honor Championship 

Christopher Daniels came out next to cut a promo presumably to retire.

Daniels instead was offered a new contract and was attacked by Shane Taylor

Next up: 4-corner Survival match for the #1 contendership for the ROH Championship

Flip Gordon vs. Chris Sabin vs. Dalton Castle vs. Marty Scurll

Dalton Castle wins the main event, earning a title match against Jay Lethal at Honor Reigns Supreme on 1/13

My take on this was, it was excellent, a nice departure from WWE, which I'll post my thoughts on Monday Night Raw a little later today. I can't wait to watch this next week.
