My Take on WWE Monday Night Raw 1/8/19
It started out with a huge brawl between Seth Rollins and 'The Almighty' Bobby Lashley.
Once things settled down, John Cena came out and announced he won't be left off WrestleMania this year as he is entering the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. Just then, Drew McIntyre comes out and says he hates John Cena. With that, Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush come out and say that unless Seth Rollins is stopped they're getting a lawyer. Seth Rollins comes out and another brawl ensues, as it's John Cena & Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley & the soon to arrive Dean Ambrose, But, soon after that, Finn Balor arrives to even the odds. They cut to commercial and when they return, it's a 6-man tag match, and they announce that all 6 men have entered the 30-Man Royal Rumble match.
The 6-man was pretty entertaining, with Rollins hitting The Curb Stomp on Ambrose for the victory.
Afterwards, Rollins confronts Triple...H? And demands a match against Dean Ambrose for the IC Title tonight. He gets his wish and it'll be Falls Count Anywhere.
I have to wonder how long can WWE keep this schtick going between The Revival and Roode & Gable over the Tag Titles. I mean, just give the titles to Dash & Dawson already, don't keep giving Roode/Gable cheap victories that cheapen their reign and giving The Revival endless rematches.
All things considered, I found this episode of Raw entertaining, I even liked the little segment between Alexa Bliss/Ronda Rousey/Sasha Banks/Nia Jax which lead to a match between Banks and Jax which of course Banks won and she gets a title match against Rousey at the Royal Rumble event.
I even liked the main event between Rollins & Ambrose, they fought all over the arena. In the end, Rollins again hit the Curb Stomp and appeared to have the victory until Bobby Lashley interfered and attacked Rollins and leaving him for Ambrose to pin and retain the IC Title
