Could Urban Meyer Really Be The Next Head Coach Of USC?

If you believe most of the rumors circulating on Twitter, you'd be thinking the same thing.

According to most of what I've heard, with Lynn Swan stepping down as USC's AD, Urban Meyer to USC is almost a done deal.

Urban Meyer, who has twice stepped down from coaching due to "health concerns" is currently the assistant AD at Ohio State and is an analyst for Fox College Football.

Of course, I've been wrong before, but in my opinion, Meyer to USC is a long shot.

The current head coach at USC, Craig Helton is off to a good start this season, going 2-0, despite losing his starting QB and going with a true freshman at QB.

For what it's worth, I think Meyer should stay retired, his last two coaching jobs (Florida, Ohio State) have taken a tremendous toll on him, and plus he really has nothing left to prove in college football, having had tremendous success no matter where he coached, including winning National Championships at both Florida and Ohio State.

Stayed retired Urban.
