Big News In Wrestling

In terms of wrestling news, what I found out between last night and today make me laugh so bad.
Jessicka Havoc is back in Impact Wrestling, she’s really put on some weight since her run in RD and the indies, she’ll be competing for not only Impact wrestling but also for WOW Women Of Wrestling, they both air on the same network...AXS TV, and speaking of that, you’re probably wondering how Impact wound up on AXS TV? Funny you should ask! I found out last night that Anthem Sports, The Parent company of Impact bought AXS TV, and that’s the only way Impact got a TV deal, because their in ring product is shit. Tessa Blanchard not withstanding. She’s the best part of Impact.

And Impact, their time slot on AXS is curious, they’re choosing to run on Friday nights starting in October at 10pm, which may be the smartest move Impact ever made (its right up there with screwing Jeff Jarret over in the Global Force Wrestling deal), it’s been common knowledge for over a year the Fox acquired the broadcast right to Smackdown, which, ironically enough moves to Fox from the USA Network on October 4th, which that is a Friday, and will run from 8-10pm, so Impact won’t run opposite WWE Smackdown.

A lot is happening in the wrestling world in October, All-Elite Wrestling starts broadcasting on TNT on October 2nd, starting what is already being called The Wednesday NightWars as WWE has announced the on September 18th, USA Network will be airing the first hour of NXT live, the second hour moves back to the WWE network.

For The Ramblings Report, I’m Steve, and I’m out!
