Jerry Jones: Prescott Deal Is 'Imminent' After Record Setting Win Over Giants

The Dallas Cowboys were huge winners on the field this week, as they defeated their rivals the New York Giants 35-17 in their season opener on Sunday.

Dak Prescott put up huge numbers, throwing for over 400 yards in the victory, setting a Cowboys record.

Afterwards, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones feels a contract extension with QB Dak Prescott is 'imminent'.

The Cowboys, who not only need to get a deal done with Prescott, but also WR Amari Cooper.

Prescott, who is asking for a deal similar to those recently given to Carson Wentz and Jared Goff.

Prescott, who, let's face facts, has won the NFC East two of his three NFL seasons.

And Sunday's victory should prove to Jerry Jones that his team needs the new 'triplets' (Elliott, Prescott & Cooper).
