Changes Are Needed In The College Football Playoff System

Now, allow me to start this piece by saying, LSU is one of my favorite, if not my favorite college football team, and I am over the moon excited that LSU is the National Champions of college football.

But, after all the excitement died down, I realized that I'll never see a team from the so called 'Group of 5' conferences compete in the college football playoff, the commitee thinks they're throwing them a bone by giving them a 'New Year's 6' bowl game, meanwhile, Notre Dame, who has no conference affiliation has a special rule just for them basically saying they can get in on the merit that they're Notre Dame.

Anyhow, you'll never see teams like Boise State, SMU, Memphis, and it's a shame, because especially Boise State, in a one game scenario, can beat any team.

If they expand to 8 to possibly 16 teams, you could see teams from the 'Group Of 5' conferences...

The first chance the commitee get, they need to expand the playoff so it could include teams from non Power 5 conferences.
