My Take On ROH & WWE 05/09/2021

This week in wrestling was very good, I'm still watching Smackdown from Friday night, but I've watched ROH, Monday Night Raw, NXT, Main Event & 205 Live.

The title change on ROH Monday night was awesome as Tony Deppen of Violence Unlimited is the NEW ROH World Television Champion...

And I think it'll be interesting when backstage interviewer Quinn McKay steps in the ring tomorrow night gainst Angelina Love on ROH Wrestling tomorrow night.

Tuesdaynight on NXT there was another title change, as Candace LaRae & Indi Hartwell of The Way defeated Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart to become the NEW NXT Women's Tage Team Champions.

Also this TRuesday night Kushida puts the NXT Cruiserweight championship on the lince against Santos Escobar in a 2 out of 3 falls match.

And we need to see if NXT Tag Team champions MSK will accept the challenge of Lagada Del Fantasma who laid down the challenge last Tuesday on NXt TV.

Also, there was two interesting confrontations, first between NXT North Amaerican champion Jonny Gargano, Austin Theory & Scarlett. Leading to Theory getting a one on one match next week against NXt Champion Karrion Kross, also, Gargano was looking for NXT General Manager William Regal looking to get out of his title match on Tuesday night against  Bronson Reed.

As the night went on Karrion Kross came out to the ring and was confronted by not only Kyle o'Reilly, but Finn Balor, Pete Dunne, and Kross was eventually laid out by Gargano & Theory

Wendesday night on Main Event saw Ricochet gain a measure of revenge against Mustafa Ali for defeating him one week ago.

Also on Main Event, Jinder Mahal , who is returning from injury, gained some revenge on Jeff Hardy for defeating him for the United States championship a few years ago by defeating him on Main Event.

NXT UK was a good show, I'm interested to see the NXT UK Heritage Cup championship match between champion A Kid & challenger Tyler Bate, and next week on NXT UK there will be a 5 woman Gauntlet Match to determine the #1 contender for Kay Lee Ray & the NXT UK Women's championship.

Also on NXT UK, Amir Jordan lost the main event in a loser leaves NXT UK match.

205 Live on Friday saw a couple of debuts & August Grey gain a measure of revenge on Ariya Daivari in the tag team main event as Grey & his tag team partner of the week took on Daivari & Tony Nese...

I'm still watching Smackdown, but so far Jimmy & Jey Uso have reunited & they cost Seth Rollins his match against Cesaro & now 'The Head Of The Table' Roman Reigns must defend the Universal Championship against Cesaro next Sunday night at WWE Wrestlemania Backlash.

All in all it was a good week of wrestling, and I throughly enjoyed it...

I'm Steve & I'm out!
