ROH Wrestling 05/04/2021

I just finished watching a good hour of ROH Wrestling, a new ROH Television Champion was crowned on this episode as Tony Deppen defeated 'Hot Sauce' Tracy Williams to win the title. It was a good match.

Next week though, backstage interviewer Quinn McKay steps in the ring with Angelina Love. Should ne an interesting match, I love women's wrestling.

From the brief few minutes I was able to watch of NWA Powerr last week, I know Angelina Love's tag team partner, Velvet Sky is in the NWA. And for more of my uncensored take on Billy Corgan & the NWA, please check out The Ramblings Report podcast on Podbean.

Anyhoo, back to ROH, it's a good little show, & a solid #3 promotion in the USA, WWE is #1, AEW is #2, ROH is #3 & IMPACT is #4, possibly #5 depending on how you feel about NJPW.

I recently rediscovered my love of wrestling, & it's all good.

ROH will never surpass WWE as far as popularity, but seeing what AEW has done with IMPACT, & the effect NJPW has had on ROH, do you think it's out of the realm of possibility that ROH could partner with WWE? That would be awesome, but it's something I don't think I'll ever see in my lifetime...

Anyhoo, that's it for my take on ROH, I need to get ready to watch WWE Raw on Hulu in a couple of hours.

Also, for those interested, The Women's Extreme Championship, my fantasy women's wrestling promotion is also moving to podcast form, log onto womensextremechampionship.blogspot.com every Saturday for text & audio format files of my latest offerings, and check out this blog every Sunday for my latest podcast on my take on everything WWE & ROH, where I talk ROH, Monday Night Raw, NXT, Main Event, NXT UK, 205 Live & Smackdown, you can either check it out on here or on The Ramblings Report page on Podbean.
