I just received a bit of wrestling news. I mean, one thing, I'm happy John Cena is back in WWE, but I also understand Cena will appear on Raw tonight along with Goldberg, who is expected to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam.
I don't understand why they can't bring in Brock Lesnar. I understand they're worried about a Brock loss to Lashley could hurt a potental feud with Roamn Reigns in 2023....2023? WTF? You're already worried about 2023? Give the fans what they want, Lesnar v. Lashley. That's the double main event the WWE Universe deserves at SummerSlam, Lashley defending the WWE title against Lesnar with Big E cashing in his MITB contract after the match, & Roamn Reigns defending the Universal Championship against John Cena, could you imagine if WWE puts Cena over Reigns? And Cena gets his 17th World championship reign?
What has WWE done to Nikki Cross? *clears throat* My bad...Nikki A.S.H. Nikki Almost A Superhero? For Fuck sake, are you serious?
This is so far removed from her days in Sanity (BTW, she's the only member of Sanity left under contract in WWE...)
Don't get me wrong, I thought it was awesome that Nikki won the Women's MITB match, I only wish she had cashed in on Charlotte Flair after she defeated Rhea Ripley last night...
Could you imagine that Nikki cashes in at SummerSlam? And then you hear the music hit, & there stands Becky Lynch! Which, by the way, I watched the MITB replay this morning, I thought the crowd was chanting: "We want Ripley..." They were chanting: "We want Becky..." which Charlotte flipped off the crowd as they did that.
Rumor was Lynch was there backstage, I guess to be with Seth Rollins, but...it would have been nice if they were to have had 'The Man' come out and confront 'The Queen' after her victory last night, and then Nikki...CROSS (I'm not calling her A.S.H.) came out & cashed in her MITB contract...
And on one final note, I know Bayley is hurt, and she's out 9 months, but if what I heard is true, and what I've heard is she's torn her ACL, 9 months is EXTREMELY optimistic, it's more like she's out up to a year...
