Mikey Whipwreck vs. 'The Enforcer' C.W, Anderson w. 'Beautiful' Billy Wiles & Lou E. Dangerously
Mikey hit a Whippersnapper on Andwran only to have Lou E. Pull the referee out of the ring before the count of 3. 'Beautiful' Billy attacks Mikey, Mikey hits a Whippersnapper on Wiles. Anderson goes to hit Mikey with Lou E.'s cell phone, Mikey ducks, only to be blasted by Lou E. with another cell phone. Anderson hits a spine buster for the pin fall victory...
Okay opener.
Styles & Cyrus then preview two of thethree upcoming title matches...
Simon Diamond, Danny Doring & Roadkil w/Mitch & Electra vs. Nova, Kid Kash & Jazz
Mitch is Simon Diamonds personal ring announcer.
Mitch introduces Simon Diamond before handing the mike back to the regular ring announcer.
I forgot how physical Jazz was at this point in her career.
Jazz hits her finisher but Diamond's personal bodybuard Richard 'Dick' Hurtz pulls Diamond out of the ring.
Lots of double entendres used to describe Dick's actions.
Kid Kash & Jazz battle with Diamind & Dick Hurtz all the way backstage, leaving Nova to deal with Doring & Roadkill...
Chris Chetti comes out to be Nova's tag team partner, Nova intially refuses to tag Chetti in, but is knocked ito the corner & gets tagged in.
After Nova & Chetti clear the ring of Doring & roadkill, Electra enters the ring to battle Chetti, and gets slammed for her efforts.
Roadkill hits the Amish Bomb splash to pin Chetti...
After the match: Bo, Jack & Puck Dupp attack (FFS I'm not kidding those are their names...) Doring, Roadkill & Chetti. Nova chases the Dupp's away.
What an overbooked clusterfuck this match was
This ECW PPV is highly differeent than what I see in WCW or WWF/E
Two backstage segments one involving ECW Champion Mike Awesome & Jeff Jones, the other involving Spike Dudley.
Lot of F-Bombs usedm in these promos
Next match was supposed to be Yoshihiro Tajiri & a mustery partner vs. Suoer Crazy & a mustery partner.
Tajiri comes out with Steve Corino, who cuts a promo, saying he calls the shotssss in ECW & chooses Super Crazy to be Tajiri's partner. Paul Heyman grabs the microphone, cuts an obscenity laced promo on Corino & says he calls the shots, not Corino, & Little Guido & Sal E. Graziano come out & Heyman says, Little Guido & Jerry Lynn will face Tajiri & Crazy....
Another overbooked multi man match
In the end, Guido turns on Jerry Lynn & Tajiri turn on Super Crazy.
Guido hits his finisher on Lynn & Tajiri hits brainbuster on Lynn for the pinfall victory...
Corino, Tajiri & Jack Victory attack Jerry Lynn only for Corino to cut yet another promo on The American Dream Dusty Rhodes.
Rhodes comes out & Attcks Corino & Victory with the Bionic Elbow, Rodes is the attacked by Rhino, the locker room empties out to save Dusty Rhodes
As I said, overbooked...
New Jack vs. Angel.
New Jack battles Angel & Da baldoes throughout the Arena.
Angel wins by pin fall after hitting New jack with a shovel
Two seperate backstage promos one with TV Champion Rob Van Dam, the othe with Sabu, both with Bill Alfonso, and again, alor of F-bombs used
ECW TV Title Match.
Sabu w/Bill Alfonso vs. Rob Van Dam w/Bill Alfonso (c)
This match came complete with a ref bump, Sabu had Van Dam pinned but no referee...
Bill Alfonso tries to play both sides & gets shunned by both men...
Van Dam retains by pin fall after a 5 Star Frog Splash
The Imoact Players cut a backstage promo
ECW Tag Team Title match.
The Impact Players (Justin Cradible & Lance Storm( w/Jason & Dawn Marie vs, Raven & Tommy Dreamer w/Francine.
Physical match.
Raven kicks out of one That's Incradible piledriver. Raven takes the brunt of a Singapore cane shot aftr shoving Francine out of the way, and Cradible hits another That's Incredible piledriver for the pinfall victory to win the titles.
ECW World Championship
Spike Dudley vs. Mike Awesome w/Judge Jeff Jone (c)
Spike sets up several tables at ringside..
Spike gets driven through alomst every table, although he does drive Aesome thorugh one as well...
Aesome retain after hitting a Super Awesome Bomb from the top rope though a table for the pin fall victory..
This card was okay, severly overbooked & lots of coarse language.....
Tomorrow morning I'll review WWE Crown Jewel 2021 from Saudi Arabia.
