WWE Crown Jewel 2021 Review

I know I'm a little late to the party of this, but, this is my review of Thurday's WWE Crown Jewel 2021

Let's start with the Kickoff Show.

The Kickoff Show match was

The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin) vs. Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Uso's (Jimmy & Jey(

This match was okay,

The Uso's first hit a double super kick on Shelton Bennnnnnnnnjamin, then on Cedric Alexander, & Jey then hits the Uso Spalsh on Alexander to win the match by pinfall.

Not the last you'll see of either team on this evening...

Backstage, Kevin Patrick tries to get a word with Paul Heyman & asks where Heyman's loyalty lies. Heyman says, he's walking to the ring with the Universal Champion: Roman Reigns, & he'll leave the ring with the Universal Champion, but he doesn't say who.

Anyhoo...

The main card starts of with the Hell In A Cell match between Seth Rollins & Edge.

This match was absolutely awesome.

At one point, Edge kicked out of a Pedigree, Rollins kicked out of a Buckle Bomb/Spear combo.

Rollins wraps a chain around his foot & super kicks Edge.

Rollins hits a sunset flip power bomb through a table off the top of a ladder.

Edge wins by first applying a weapon assisted crossface, then putting a steel chair under Rollins head and perfoming the Curb Stomp...

This was a grat opener...

One thing I noticed, even the female referees in WWE aren't allowed to show any form of skin other then their hands & face in Saudi Arabia, wome's rights are nin existent in Saudi Arabia.

Next match is Mansoor vs. Mustafa Ali.

Rare PPV appearance for both men, & rhe first time two Muslim men meet in a WWE ring on PPV.

Mansoor wins by pin fall after a slingshot neck breaker from the outside of the ring to the inside.

Ali attacks Mansoor after the match, But then Olympic silver medalist in karate & Saudi native Tarek Hamdi comes out & lays Ali out.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match

AJ Styles & Omos vs. RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) (c)

Omos, as far as I know has still yet to tak a bumo.

This match was okay.

Riddle maes his entance on a camel

RK-Bro retain when Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm, Orton counters into the RKO & he tags Riddle in and he hits the Floating Bro for the pin fall victory.

Backstage Kevin Patrick interviews Becky Lynch who first cuts a promo on Sasha Banks, then on the concept of the Triple Threat match.

Queen's Crown Tournament Final

Zelina Vega vs. Doudrop

Both women come out wearing a full body suit & a t-shirt over that, God forbid they show their bodies in Saudi Arabia.

This match was surprising.

Vega wins the crown by hitting a Code Red Power Bomb for the pin fall victory.

All Hail Queen Zelina.

No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere Match...

'The All-Mighty' Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg.

This match surprised me.

It went about 10 minutes (long for a Goldberg match)

Goldberg could'v pinned Lashley in the ring after a spear/Jack Hammer combo, but he takes the fight outside the ring, the fight along ringside, and then both men grab Kendo Sticks, Goldberg breaks his over his knee. The Hurt Business (Benjamin & Alexander) come to assist Lashley, but Goldberg takes them both out. Goldbeg then spears Lashley off the entrance through a few tables below and pins Lashley there for the victory....

Solid match...

King of the Ring Tournament Final.

Finn Balor vs. Xavier Woods.

I thought this would be Balor's coming out party, Both men attempt & counter each others finisher at least once.

Woods wins the crwon after hitting a Top Rope elbow for the pin..,

All Hial King Xavier...

WWE Championship

Drew McIntyre vs, Big E (c)

This match was good.

McIntyre was able to kick out of a Big Ending, and Big E was able to kick out of a Claymore Kick.

But Big E retains after kitting a second Big Ending for the victory

Co-Main

Triple Threat match for the Smackdown Women's Championship.

Bianca Bealir vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch (c)

This match was also good.

There was a good spot where Sasha had Bianca locked in the Bank Statement & Lynch also gad Bianca in the Dis-Arm-Her.

Becky retains after Bianca hit the KOD on Lynch, Sasha knocked Bianca out of the ring, and went for the pin, but Becky rolled her up & used the rope for the pin fall victory.

Main event.

Universal Championship match

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns w/Pau Heyman (c)

Lesnar took Reigns to Suplex City

Lesnar kicks out of a vicious Spear,a nd doesn't go down after two Superman Punches

Reigns somehow kick out of an F5

Lesnar goes for another F5, but Reigns counters into the Guillotine Choke, but Lesnar survives.

Lesnar has the match won after a 3rd F5 but he took the referee ou in the pricess of hitting the F5

Heyman then seemingly hands the title to Lesnar, he goes to blast Reigns with it, but the Uso's super kick Lesnar's head off

Reigns then hits Lesnar in the face with the championship belt & a second referee enter to make the three count.

Reigns retsins...

Reigns then rins away like a theif in the night.

Solid Main Event, Solid Show...

My next review comes later today when I review WCW Souled Out 2000

For The Ramblings, I'm Steve & I'm out!
