Classic Weekly Wrestling Wrap-Up Week Ending 02-12-2000

I just finished warching the week ending 02-12-00.

On WCW progrsmming, Kevin Nash returned to resume his role as WCW Commissioner & he booked Scott Hall vs. Jeff Jarrett & the winner would be #1 contender to Sid & the WCW World Heavywieght title. The match ended in a no contest. And now, with only a week until Super Brawl 2000, it's still Jeff Jarrett vs. Sid for the World Heavyweight title.

In WWF programming, Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko & Saturn called Cactus Jack to the ring to thank him for their opportunity in the WWF, only, they had already signed contracts & sided with Triple H. Later on Raw, it was scheduled to be Cactus Jack & four partners of his choosing vs. Triple H, X-Pac, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn. The Rock revealed he'd be Cactus' partner, & as the match was beginning, Rikishi & Too Cool run down & now it's 5 on 5. Triple H's team picks up the victory after the New Age Outlaws run down and interfere. But as Raw is going off the air, Paul Bearer returns with Kane who lays waste to Triple H & X-Pac. Later that week on Smackdown, Triple H makes the following matches: Perrt Saturn vs. Grand Master Sexay, Dean Malenko vs. Scotty 2 Hotty, Chris Benoit vs. Rikishi, The New Age Outlaws vs, Cactus Jack & The Rock, & Triple H & X-Pac vs. Kane...

It was a chaotic night to say the least.

On ECW Programming, they kept giving updates on Rob Van Dam's broken leg. And the rivalry between Tommy Dreamer & Raven intensified.

I'll watcch the week before Super Brawl now...

Until next time, I'm Steve & I'm out!
